Hello Blue Dolphins,

Tomorrow is the day we all have been waiting for… Divisionals! Please arrive to the pool by 5:40am. Warmups for us run from 5:50am - 6:10am. The meet will promptly start at 7:00am. Later today I will send out the heat sheet along with the timeline of events for the meet.

As a reminder, our theme for the swim meet is a Blue Out! Please note that no body paint or marker are allowed to be used on the swimmers bodies.

Thank you to all of the parents who provided such a delicious breakfast for our swimmers this morning. A special shoutout to Ashley Peduto, Stephanie Smith and Amanda Kryway for coordinating this event.

Please don’t forget that the pool needs to be set up tonight at 6pm. All hands on deck are needed in order to make this an easy process.

Finally, Saturday evening at 6pm, we will be having our end of the season banquet. This is our time to honor all of our swimmers and their accomplishments during this season. Just a reminder, there will be no swimming at the pool. Please bring your favorite soft drink, all other food is provided.

I am so proud of all of the hard work each and every swimmer has put into this season. It has been my pleasure as well as the rest of the coaching staff to work with each and every swimmer. Now, lets bring all of our hard work in the pool tomorrow as we look to WIN Divisionals!

GO BLUE DOLPHINS!!!!

All the best,

Coach Teddy :)

Good Morning,

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! Parents, please fill out the miss meet no later than noon today if your swimmer is unable to attend the meet. The form is located on our website. I cannot stress enough the importance of doing this as it is critical for seeding the meets and relays. Lastly, in order to qualify for our Divisional Championship meet, each swimmer must participate in a minimum of two swim meets during the regular season. This requirement must be met prior to the Divisional meet. Please let me know if you have any questions. Hope to see everyone at practice this week as we prepare for our upcoming home meet on Saturday against Urbanna.

Congratulations to Andrew Pajak, Colin Winterstine, Josh Burlingame, and Cole Plummer for breaking the 11-12 Boys 100 Freestyle Relay Record (1:07.40) with a new time of 1:06.47.

Hello Blue Dolphins,

Great job to all of our swimmers this past weekend. Although the weather conditions were not ideal, we managed to push through and have a great first meet. Although Stonewall took the win, our team performed very well. A huge thank you to all of our volunteers. Please find meet results posted on our website.

Dolphins of the Week:

Each of the coaches and I will announce our Dolphins of the Week. This recognition is given to the two swimmers we believe to have shown individual growth, great sportsmanship, and determination to finish races. Congratulations to our Dolphins of the Week, Zuri Mwalilu and Duncan Barlow!

Miss Meet Form:

If you are unable to attend a swim meet, please fill out the miss meet form, located on our website, prior to noon on Wednesday. This is critical for seeding the meet and creating relays. After Wednesday if there are extenuating circumstances, such as your child getting sick, please email me. Please make every effort to attend meets as every swim counts!

StateFarm:

Thank you to JT Wheeler, a neighborhood StateFarm agent. Last night, Mr. Wheeler provided us with towels while the kids and coaches had a great time at practice taking pictures with Jake’s cutout. We do have extra towels, so if you were not able to make practice, please come see me.

Morning Practice:

As a reminder, morning practices start this week on Thursday 6/16. Please visit our website to see practice times.

As always, please reach out to me with any questions you my have. I am excited for this weekends upcoming meet against Virginia Oaks. Go Blue Dolphins!

Hello,

Just a few items to cover. First, please come help set up the pool tomorrow night at 6:00pm. It is really important that volunteers show up as it makes the set up process easier. Second, I have had a lot of questions about the weather and this Saturday’s meet. The meet will occur even if it is raining. If the meet is canceled, you will be notified via email. Therefore, SHOW UP even if it is raining and you have not received an email.

As we prepare for our upcoming meet against Stonewall, here are a few important reminders. Swimmers are expected to arrive at 6:00am for our warmups that begin at 6:10am. The meet will promptly start at 7:00am. Please note that the far side of the pool is for the visiting team to set up and watch the meet.

It is important to check out with a coach before you intend to leave the meet because we still have freestyle relays at the end. Again, relays are subject to change so please refer to the white board in the morning located at the coach’s tent.

We will be providing a full concessions at the meet. Everyone’s support is appreciated as it is a primary fundraiser for the team. Lastly, please remember to volunteer as we cannot run the meet without everyone’s help. Thank you all so much. Please reach out if you have any further questions.

Go Blue Dolphins!

Coach Teddy :)
